Structural analysis and design for 30,000 sq. ft. 2-story structural steel moment resistant frame utilizing concrete over metal deck at the 2nd floor. Both metal deck over steel joist and engineered lumber roof system alternatives were considered through design development, with the engineered lumber alternative selected through value engineering with the Owner, Architect, and Contractor.
